NORDIC COMMERCIAL STRATEGY MANAGER – Cosmetic Skincare & Medicated Skincare

ASSIGNMENT

This role is part of the Nordic Commercial Strategy & Implementation (CS&I) team, with the objective of driving the Cosmetics & Medicated Skincare businesses of Omega Pharma Nordic, comprising brands including ACO, Cosmica, Cliniderm, Dermalex, Canoderm and Miniderm. For this prioritized area, where Omega Pharma is the leading Nordic supplier to pharmacies, you will be tasked with securing in-market success of new product initiatives as well as existing portfolio through optimized commercial strategies and data-based conceptual selling stories.

As one of two Nordic Commercial Strategy Managers, you will work broadly across the Nordic organization and function as a key strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, and R&D. You will report to the Head of Nordic CS&I and work at the Nordic headquarters, situated in northern Stockholm.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Commercial evaluation of new business opportunities and development of winning business plans and cases, reflecting key shopper & customer insights and drivers

• Developing commercial strategies, identifying, for example, key business levers, for relevant brand portfolios and new product initiatives

• Developing Nordic conceptual sell-in stories for NPI:s and other major commercial initiatives

• Identifying, ordering, and analyzing research and data needed to support the above three responsibilities

• Supporting Local CS&I Managers in developing customer strategies & plans that make our brands win with both customers and shoppers

• Key metrics (for relevant Business Units): P&L, market shares, pharmacy category growth

PROFILE

Experience

• Relevant university degree, preferably in Business

• 5+ years relevant FMCG experience from roles within, e.g., Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P), strategic Key Account Management, Customer Marketing, and Brand Management. Commercial experience is prioritized.

• Excellent business track record

Competence

• Strong analytical thinking; readily digests data to provide actionable and business oriented conclusions, based on, e.g., Nielsen, IMS, household panels, and shopper studies

• Strong strategic capability coupled with commercial orientation

• Strong ability to shift between strategic and executional areas of work

• Strong experience and interest in consumer/shopper behavior
