Digital Marketing Manager

Facing new initiatives and market challenges, the marketing department need to recruit a new leader to the team. The company´s general focus is to recruit, develop and retain high potential individuals at eBay Sweden. We are now recruiting a senior marketing manager role to the team reporting to the CMO. We are looking for highly driven people with an entrepreneurial mind set who are curious, customer and team oriented. You are as passionate about e-commerce as we are. The team at Tradera consists of highly skilled professionals within marketing, sales, customer service, tech and product development as well as business insights and analysis. We are 55 people working from a central located office in Stockholm.

Marketing & Communication is responsible for driving relevant traffic, developing the Tradera brand as well as all communication with our buyers and sellers. On a daily basis, we work with areas such as brand development, strategic and tactic online campaigns, Social media, PR and corporate communication, SEM and SEO as well as analysis and planning. We also do certain product development in close cooperation with our product and tech development teams. The team consists currently of 6 persons.

THE POSITION AS DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

As Digital Marketing Manager at Tradera you will lead and develop an engaged, young team of 3 persons that is responsible for all onsite marketing and communication activities as well as our email campaigns and social media – activation in all marketing channels owned by ebay Sweden. Your responsibility is to drive traffic thru emails and social media and to engage the customers by driving activation and conversion. Focus is both on retention as well as customer acquisition. The role also include leading and supporting some product development. You will have a wide area of responsibility with numerous contacts both internally and externally as well as internationally thru our ebay network.

We work in high pace and you will become a part of an engaged, customer focused and experienced team. To become successful in this role we believe you have a very strong online background and experience from e-commerce, retail or a consumer oriented product company. You are used to work with the web as a communication and sales channel, in combination with a strong technical understanding of the media’s possibilities and restrictions. Furthermore, experience from CRM, customer acquisition and how to build strong brands are very valuable to us as is experience from leading large complex projects. You need to cooperate both with top agencies as well as highly skilled tech developers.

This is a key position and you will be able to develop the role and strongly influence your work as well as the product and activities. We are also looking for future senior leaders. Tradera and eBay offer you good possibilities to grow within the company.

THE DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Be responsible for the onsite marketing, direct marketing and social media at the Tradera. This team work with Tradera’s email campaigns, first page, campaign sites and other landing pages for example.

• Achieve strong customer engagement and high conversion rates and make sure Tradera is up to date according to campaign plan, seasons and trends.

• Plan, execute, release and analyze marketing campaigns together with external agencies, consultants and other team members in the Marketing team.

• Develop marketing plan incl vision, strategy, tactics

• Develop and execute social media strategy

• Lead and order specific product development that drives customer engagement.

• Work closly with our business insights team to ensure analysis of customer behaviour to ensure right actions

• Make sure the team is focused on driving KPIs like traffic, conversion, ROI and brand love.

• Manage budget and forecasting process

• Develop and coach 3 employees.

You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications who is part of the management team and reports to our CEO.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

You have a university degree within business, media, marketing or technology in combination with a strong interest for operational marketing. You have worked +5 years within online marketing preferably at an e-commerce company or larger retailer with an online presence or at a FMCG company. You enjoy and have a good knowledge in technology as well as in social media. You truly understand what drives customer engagement.
