Brand Activation Manager

The company´s general focus is to recruit, develop and retain high potential individuals at eBay Sweden. Facing new business and marketing challenges, a new exciting position has been created. We are now recruiting a Brand Activation Manager who reports directly to the CMO. We are looking for highly driven people with an entrepreneurial mind set who are curious, customer and team oriented. You are as passionate about e-commerce as we are. The team at Tradera consists of highly skilled professionals within marketing, sales, customer service, tech and product development as well as business insights and analysis. We are 55 people working from a central located office in Stockholm.

Marketing & Communication department is responsible for driving relevant traffic, developing the Tradera brand and handling all communication with our buyers and sellers. On a daily basis, we work with areas such as brand development, strategic and tactic online campaigns, Social media, PR and corporate communication, SEM and SEO as well as analysis and planning. We also do certain product development in close cooperation with our product and tech development teams. The team consists currently of 6 persons.

The position as Brand Activation Manager

This new position as Brand Activation Manager is responsible for activating sellers and buyers at Tradera through engaging campaigns and concepts. Main responsibility is to develop new creative concepts and large retail like campaigns including media strategy for how to make the brand come alive even stronger but also to change brand perception and drive sales. The position is also responsible for brand strategy and guidelines, brand reputation and trust communication. Manage charity auctions and partnerships with other companies or people are also part of this new exciting role.

You love communication and marketing, have a strong digital background and a strong feeling for Tradera and our customers. The Brand Activation Manager´s primary responsibilities include:

• Develop brand and sales campaigns – both digital and other channels

• Develop new concepts to activate sellers and buyers

• Plan, execute, release and analyze marketing campaigns together with external agencies, consultants and other team members in the Marketing team

• Find and develop new partnerships with companies and people

• Together with CMO develop brand strategy and media strategy

• Execute and develop the brand guidelines and make sure the entire organization live and breathe the brand

• Make sure Tradera is up to date according to campaign plan, seasons and trends

• Manage budget and campaign follow ups

• Work closely with our business insights team to ensure analysis of customer behavior /insights

• Support the organization on social media tactics

• Manage events

• Set up and measure relevant KPIs like brand love, conversion etc

Desired Skills & Experience

You have a university degree within business, media or marketing in combination with a strong interest for operational marketing. You have worked +4 years within marketing at a retailer, ecommerce player, FMCG or at a very consumer oriented company. You enjoy and have a very good knowledge of social media and other media channels. You have a strong online background and truly understand what drives KPIs and ROI.

• Experience from working with strong brands both from a tactic and strategic perspective

• Experience in project management and manage agencies

• Strong background in digital marketing

• Media strategy

• Very creative

• Preferably experience from CRM

• Very good communication skills

• A passion for social media/ e-commerce/ technology/ retail

• Strong execution power

• Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
