An important part is to support Swedish small and medium-sized companies in reaching export markets with their products and services so that they can grow internationally. The support consists of advisory services, skills development for companies, events, and targeted campaigns. Business Sweden’s mission is also to facilitate for foreign actors to invest in Sweden. Business Sweden is a merger of the Swedish Trade Council and Invest Sweden, founded on January 1, 2013. We are jointly owned by the Swedish government and the industry, represented by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Foreign Trade Association. The shared ownership provides access to contacts and networks at all levels.
What can we offer you as consultant with Business Sweden in Asia?
You will be a part of our consulting operation, providing support to our clients in their international business development. We offer you an environment and work set up requiring a large degree of expected self-motivation, drive and the chance to handle both delivery and sales. The Asian market is complex and challenging but also rewarding for the right person.
Who are we looking for?
You have a higher academic degree, probably a Master of Science in Business and Administration or/and Engineering. We believe you have a background as a management consultant or international business developer, and have working experience in managing projects or parts of projects for 3 to 5 years. You have an international experience in making business and working or studying abroad. A very high level of proficiency in Swedish and English is a requirement. Experience from selling consultant services and handling complex sales discussions as well as experience from Asian markets and Asian business culture is highly meriting. You are excited by the political and diplomatic aspect of the assignment and have the ability to establish sustainable relationships on all levels.
As a person you are business-focused, result-oriented, analytical and adaptable. Social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as passion for and ability to handle new challenges.
